E-mail: [email protected] com FUZY Resilience is a very important aspect of each and every individual's lifestyle. Individual characteristics such as self-esteem and family members characteristics including family adaptability and family cohesion create both risk and safety factors in an individual's environment. The objective of this kind of research is to determine the relationships that exist between strength, self-esteem, friends and family adaptability and family cohesion of child delinquents when considering the effect of gender. Respondents were 134 juvenile delinquents (44 guys and 90 females) by two teen delinquent schools in Malaysia who required part from this exploratory cross-sectional survey study design by simply responding to The Resilience Size, The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Level and The Family Adaptability and Cohesion Scales II. Benefits showed that self–esteem, friends and family cohesion and family versatility together with sexuality did not create a significant connection effect with resilience. INTRODUCTION Moving into a continuously evolving and advancing community improves persons' quality of life. Nevertheless , they also are more prone to negative forces, leading to their participation in a vast range of cultural problems, which in turn arise due to the challenging conditions they face every day (Laird, 2004; Laursen, 2005). In Malaysia, the rates of juvenile criminal offenses had improved steadily from 2002 to 2009 the place that the number of chaotic crimes by simply juvenile offenders such as afeitado, molest, and armed robbery had almost doubled by 1105 instances to 2394 cases. Based upon police information, the number of chaotic crimes committed by child offenders up to August 2010 was 860 (Hariati, 2010). All these conditions are connected and hence, the existence of possible risk and protective factors impact each other by social human relationships formed as well as its qualities. Adolescents faced with even more risk factors are prone to participate in high-risk behaviors (Ahern et 's., 2008). For example, Mayzer (2004) stated that participants with lower self-pride were connected with an rising pattern of aggressive behavior. Adolescent's aggression had been associated with more social problems, family expressiveness, physical discipline, and negative control but much less family cohesion. Some predictors of late

behaviors and aggression involved more mother's psychopathology, interpersonal problems, and family turmoil with an addition of obtaining lower global self-esteem in predicting hostility but not late behavior.
